The process of composing the piece was based on a technique I learned from Mexican composer Julio Estrada while at CCMIX. The process involves lying in total darkness, waiting for a dream-like narrative to come to mind upon which a piece should be composed.

Name Track 3: Caitlin
The music for this piece was created by analyzing the overtone structures of the vowels found inthe name Caitlin, sung on various pitches.
Elves and Men-Microtonal
Created on Midicode, a microtonal, self-programmed synthesizer.
FIVTET
This is one of my earliest microtonal works in which I explored 5 and 10 tone equal temperaments. The tones one hears were sampled from an acoustic guitar, with the microtones being achieved via a slide.
Chicanes
This piece was composed as part of an interactive installation called SPORTS which premiered at The Front gallery in NOLA on July 10th, 2010. The installation featured videos by Dave Greber, and moveable chicanes built by Adam Montegut and others. It is inspired by the baroque era (fugue in particular); also, by Switched on Bach. Clearly.
